2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

Chevrolet at 2005 Los Angeles Auto Show unveiled 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The car with its innovative features and strong heritage is a true mid-size personal coupe. The car will be best known for its roominess and sports car styling and performance.

The safety features includes seat-mounted side air bags, traction control, tire pressure monitor, sound damping and ABS. 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo will have Displacement on Demand (DOD) technology operation with 303 horsepower 5.3L V8 engine and it will be same, front wheel drive car. The LT and LS models will have 211-hp 3.5L V6 operation. The transmission will be Hydra Matic four speeds automatic with overdrive.

The exterior changes for 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo are not much. The most significant update is headlight, which is larger and more prominent. There will also be a improvement in the fuel economy in the new model by 12%. As prices of gas are rising, it will give you more reasons to buy a 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Four models for the car will be available namely LTZ, LS, LT, SS. It will be a great car for NASCAR fans.

2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo will be available in showrooms by fall of 2005.

Very nice, but it is really missing the elegance of the the classic shape of the original Monte... I for one would love to see more of the original styling. Still love them...

Its about time chevie put a V8 back in the Monte its a great car that deserves more power than what its had in the past

glad for the V8 but the new front end sucks...i like the long look now i guess i can say montes used to have - it looks like a damn cobalt front end
